WKGA “Keys to Summer” Contest Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

2. ELIGIBILITY
Contest is open to legal residents of the state of Alabama, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of WKGA-Kowaliga Country 97.5, Lake Broadcasting Inc., participating sponsors Yuengling, Heritage South Credit Union, Dixie Electric, Plumbing, Air, Goree’s Furniture, Simply Southern Outdoors in Tallassee and Glynn-Smith Chevrolet GMC, affiliates, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.

3. CONTEST PERIOD
The WKGA “Keys to Summer” contest begins on Thursday May 21st, 2026 and ends on Friday July 31st, 2026. Keys will be hidden and clues released on-air, online, and/or via social media during the contest period.

4. HOW TO PLAY

• WKGA-Kowaliga Country will hide a total of ninety-seven “Keys to Summer” in public areas.
• WKGA-Kowaliga Country will hide a total of five “GOLDEN KEYS” out of the ninety-five “Keys to Summer” that when found will be worth $100.00 dollars instantly IF the winner follows the instructions on how to claim the GOLDEN KEY they will be provided a $100.00 dollar cash card.
• Clues will be announced on-air and/or posted on WKGA-Kowaliga Country 97.5 official platforms.
• Participants must follow the clues to locate a hidden key.
• Limit one (1) key per person per zone unless otherwise specified. (Once you have a key you can’t secure anymore)
• Limit one (1) key per per person, per family or/and per household (If keys are submitted by anyone within the same family or household or same last name or same address the key is subject to be voided and not valid)

5. PRIZES

• Some keys may be designated as “Golden Keys”, which are instant winners of a cash prize (example: $100).
• Other keys may qualify participants for additional prizes, drawings, or a grand prize.
• Prize details, including number of keys and values, will be announced on-air and/or online.

6. WINNER VERIFICATION

• All potential winners are subject to verification by WKGA.
• Winners must present valid identification.
• WKGA reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of tampering, cheating, or violating contest rules.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS

• Keys have no cash value unless designated as a winning key.
• Contestants assume all risk and responsibility when traveling to or searching for keys.
• Keys will not be hidden in unsafe, restricted, or private areas. Do not trespass.
• WKGA is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged keys.

8. PUBLICITY RELEASE
By participating, winners agree to allow WKGA and its sponsors to use their name, voice, likeness, and hometown for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

9. SOCIAL MEDIA DISCLAIMER
This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or any other social media platform.

10. ODDS OF WINNING
Odds of winning depend on the number of participants and keys claimed.

11. SPONSOR
The contest is sponsored by WKGA and participating promotional partners (Yuengling, Heritage South Credit Union, Dixie Electric, Plumbing, Air, Goree’s Furniture, Simply Southern Outdoors in Tallassee and Glynn-Smith Chevrolet GMC )

12. RULE CHANGES
WKGA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
